Family means the world to most people, and most people would do anything to see their family safe and free of war and terror. This is exactly what Tima Kurdi was doing when her nephew, Alan Kurdi, washed up on Turkish shores, pushing the plight of Syrian refugees to the forefront of world's eyes.

Join us on May 1st as Tima Kurdi, interviewed by Gregor Craigie, presents her moving and unforgettable story. From her own life as a single mother and immigrant to the life she tried to give her family that remained in a soon to be war-torn Syria.
